I liked fishing class because you got to take tests on the different fish.  You get to catch fish and learn how to hold them.  I don’t like touching their gills because they flop all over.  I think fishing class is fun for girls AND boys.

You can catch fish and use wax worms and earthworms, night crawler worms.  It was pretty good because I learned how to fish a lot better and it was fun to do in the summer instead of playing all my video games.  I’m pretty good at it and now I go for a long time with my dad.

The fishing trips were cool and the fact that we got tackle boxes, ultra light rods, and casting lessons.  We got to use the internet to look at fishing maps and learn how to tie all sorts of knots.

I caught a northern pike off of a little pole.  We caught a bass off a little pool too and she was a beauty.  The class I took with Mr. Leton was fun!

I can’t wait to take the fishing class again next year.  The stuff that came in my tackle box was really cool.  I think the most fun was checking out the coolest bait shop ever.

The Little Lunkers/Hook, Line, and Sinker Class was a fabulous way for my children to spend 2 weeks during summer school.  The memories that were created are still brought up anytime we pass a body of water in the Lake Country area.
